Brass is a fantastic and affordable material for people who like warm, gold-like tones in their jewelry. Brass sometimes will cause a reaction when in direct contact with skin for long periods of time, though many people do not experience any reaction. Though there is no way to predict if you will be sensitive to any given metal, these earrings are not recommended for those with a known skin sensitivity to brass. Like silver, brass jewelry will last forever if cared for properly. It will tarnish over time and require regular cleaning/polishing to keep it’s bright appearance but can always be restored to it’s original state.
